Brenda Acevedo & Jeremy Stack Take Grand Prize
American Bank Center and Centerplate would like to congratulate the 2nd Annual Bridal Boot Camp Winners, Brenda Acevedo and Jeremy Stack. Bridal Boot Camp is an obstacle course contest designed by American Bank Center to promote the venue’s Wedding Concepts packages. Contestants were chosen after submitting essays describing their relationship and how they fell in love. Three finalists were announced following Sunday’s Wedding Fair to compete in Bridal Boot Camp, an obstacle course set up outside American Bank Center along Shoreline Blvd., for a chance to win a $10,000 wedding package. This year, American Bank Center and Centerplate, along with Razzle Dazzle, Simply Elegant, Fine Jewelry Outlet, Fonzie Munoz Photography, VIP Limousine Service, Gold's Gym, Image Cinema and The Chocolate Fountains of South Texas hosted the 2nd annual Bridal Boot Camp. The winners, Brenda and Jeremy, received:

About thirty couples entered the contest. The obstacle course included a kayaking challenge, a bike race, a quick cake-making session and ended with a tango to the finish line. Brenda Acevedo and Jeremy Stack maintained a strong lead and were awarded the grand prize. Second place winners Tammy Smith and Paul Mudd won a $2,500 gift certificate from American Bank Center and third-place couple Lizette Urdiales and Gerals Garcia received a $1,000 gift certificate from American Bank Center.
