TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA ANNOUNCES
FINAL LEG OF “BEETHOVEN’S LAST NIGHT”
ROCK THEATER TOUR
WILL PERFORM AT AMERICAN BANK CENTER MARCH 4, 2012
Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and their brand of "Rock Theater,” are preparing to light up the road for a three month Spring Tour, traveling to over 60 markets across the United States.
The band will be performing ”Beethoven’s Last Night” for one final tour before the band begins to focus on its new album and new live concert spectacular. Not to be missed, this unparalleled unique performance combines virtuoso musicianship, story-telling and over the top production. Audiences will immerse themselves into "Beethoven's Last Night," with the music and story of the famed composer as he battles for his eternal soul.
TSO creator, Paul O'Neill explains, "By the age of 21 Beethoven tackled Vienna, the music capital of the world. Mozart recognized him as one of the greatest piano players in the world but his world would soon crash around him. At 25 Beethoven realized he was going deaf. He could have given up on his music and life and no one would have judged him harshly but instead he went on to write some of the greatest compositions ever created. His music would bring delight, joy and compassion to billions, but he himself would never hear his last works."
With sales in excess of 8 million, Trans-Siberian Orchestra is among the most popular groups of the modern era. TSO debuted in 1996, since then, all three of the Orchestra's Holiday themed albums have proven enduring blockbusters, returning annually to the top 10 on Billboard's "Top Chart Albums" and "Top Holiday Albums" charts.
As one of the top selling acts in the world, Trans-Siberian Orchestra has cemented itself as an annual tradition not to be missed. The band has grown to become a year round juggernaut, performing what creator/writer/producer Paul O'Neill has dubbed "Rock Theater."
O'Neill's vision for TSO and how he created the "Rock Theater" art form were propelled from the stage to the television screen with the support of PBS. The PBS special titled "The Birth of Rock Theater," features live performances from "Beethoven's Last Night" along with music from their most recent album "Night Castle," which debuted at #5 on the Billboard Charts. "The Birth of Rock Theater" is a must see for any TSO fan.
