(Corpus Christi, TX – January 5, 2016) The Got Faith Music Festival is back! Bringing South Texas the Ultimate Christian Music Experience, with the some of the most popular CCM Artist of all times. The Got Faith Music Team will continue to bring the biggest names to the Got Faith Stage and we look forward to another sold out event and hope to see everyone there. Helping define the sound of Christian music for more than two decades, Newsboys’ live performances continue to sell out venues across the country. Comprised of lead vocalist Michael Tait, Jody Davis (guitar), Jeff Frankenstein (keys) and Duncan Phillips (drums), the band has sold more than 8 million units, amassing eight Gold® certifications, 33 #1 radio hits, four GRAMMY® nominations, two American Music Award nominations and multiple Dove Awards. “God’s Not Dead,” Newsboys’ chart topping, Platinum®-certified single, inspired Pure Flix's 2014 hit film of the same name. Newsboys, who will return to the big screen on April 1st 2016 for the highly-anticipated Pure Flix release, “God’s Not Dead 2,” will perform the film’s theme song and the band's latest single, “Guilty,” during the tour. In addition, the iconic group will showcase hits from their unparalleled career and forthcoming new studio recording.
Tenth Avenue North- Spreading truth and leading people to life is exactly what the members of Tenth Avenue North have been doing since launching the band during their college days in West Palm Beach, Florida. The group made its national debut in 2008 on Reunion Records with Over and Underneath, which spawned the hits “Love is Here”, “By Your Side” and “Hold My Heart. “Tenth Avenue North won the Gospel Music Association Dove Award in 2009 for New Artist of the Year and in 2010 “By Your Side” was named Song of the Year. The band gained further momentum with 2010’s The Light Meets the Dark and The Struggle, in 2012 which continued to populate radio and the church with such memorable songs as “Healing Begins,“You Are More, ”Losing” and “Worn.” The Dove Award-winning band’s fourth studio album, aptly titled Cathedrals, is a collection of well-crafted songs that inspire community, encourage accountability, and celebrate the fact we are not alone. The lead single, “No Man is an Island,” underscores the message of community and reminds us we are not alone.
Hawk Nelson - This powerhouse, pop rock band has won the hearts of thousands since its debut release in 2004. Hawk Nelson has released seven studio projects (Letters to the President, Smile It's the End of the World, Hawk Nelson is My Friend, Live Life Loud, Crazy Love, Made, and Diamonds). Hawk Nelson has been awarded two Canadian GMA awards, multiple GMA Dove Award nominations, as well as a JUNO nomination. Hawk Nelson continues to celebrate their newest release “Diamonds,” which has produced their No. 1 radio single with "Drops in the Ocean." The debut single from their recent project was their first single at the top of Billboard's Christian AC Indicator chart - where it spent nine weeks at No. 1. In addition, the song spent four weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Christian Hot AC/CHR chart. The song is also was in the Top 5 of the National Christian Audience chart. “Made”, their sixth album, debuted at No. 2 on the iTunes Christian & Gospel chart as well as in the Top 100 overall albums. Their radio single “Words” went No. 1 at Billboard’s Christian Hot AC/CHR and remained in the Top 10 for 22 weeks.
I AM THEY- Hailing from Carson City, Nevada, I AM THEY has roots as a worship team based out of a community of various area churches. The band’s 6-piece sound is propelled by versatile musicianship and anchored by three-part vocal harmonies. The name I Am They is inspired by John 17 - created with the intent to adopt on a personal and individual level. As Jesus prays in this chapter, He consistently refers to His disciples as "they". It is important to each band member to be the “they” that Jesus referred to. In 2011, God began to open multiple doors for the band. Through a unique series of events, including opening for a few CCM acts, as well as winning a band competition at Spirit West Coast, I Am They garnered attention within the industry, culminating in a major label/publishing deal with Provident Label Group.
Since their debut in 1986, Audio Adrenaline has been one of Christian music’s best-loved bands. They have garnered two GRAMMY® Awards for Best Rock Gospel Album (Worldwide, Until My Heart Caves In); five GMA Dove Awards; a Gold®-certified recording (Bloom); and 14 #1 Christian radio singles, including signature songs “Big House,” “Get Down”, “Kings and Queens” and “Hands and Feet.” Sound of the Saints, the band’s critically acclaimed release, debuted at #1 earlier thisyear on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart.
GRAMMY®-nominated Gotee recording artist Ryan Stevenson’s full-length debut, Fresh Start, released to critical acclaim in September and includes the multi-week #1 “Not Forgotten” (feat. TobyMac), as well as the recent hit “All yours.” Nominated for a 2014 GRAMMY® Award as co-writer of TobyMac’s hit single “Speak Life,” Stevenson—who spent seven years as a paramedic before signing an exclusive agreement with Gotee Records—hails from the Pacific Northwest and is a husband and father of two boys.
OBB—brothers Zach (lead vocals/keys/guitar), Jacob (lead guitar) and Nich Oswald (drums)—rocketed into the spotlight in 2013 with a GMA Dove Award nomination and a slot on the juggernaut Winter Jam Tour Spectacular, a role they reprised this fall. Signed by Curb Records in 2012 after gaining national notoriety on CBS Early Show’s “Singing Family Face-Off,” OBB’s full-length debut, Bright Side, which released last year, features the #1 hit title-cut and the current Top 10 single, "Up Close and Personal."
Kairy Marquez - is a bilingual Worship Leader, Songwriter, and Speaker. Kairy, wrote her hit single back in 2014 “Rey de Poder” and has been recognized as one of the voices with a future in inspirational Christian music by the Rome Reports. For the last two years she has been traveling throughout Latin America and taken her music to some of the most needed places. She has shared the stage with Artist such as the Newsboys, Audio Adrenaline, For King & Country, Jon Carlo’s Band and many more. Some of Kairy’s English hits have been “He Reigns” and “My Everything.”
