Event Description: Man of La Mancha is one of the all-time great successes in American stage history. This musical adaptation is based on Miguel de Cervantes' masterpiece of world literature, Don Quixote. After its premiere on Broadway in 1965, the musical quickly won audiences’ hearts in addition to all the major theatre awards, including five Tony Awards. It was also named “Best Musical” by the N.Y. Drama Critics’ Circle, The Outer Circle, The Variety Poll and Saturday Review. This timeless musical features the memorable songs, “Man of La Mancha” (I, Don Quixote), “I Really Like Him“, and “The Impossible Dream” (The Quest).
