Event Details: The Corpus Christi Ballet, South Texas' Most Prestigious Dance Company, presents the exciting holiday classic, "The Nutcracker," on December 15th and 16th at Selena Auditorium.
This professional company boasts principal dancers from Russia and the United States and will feature live music by the Corpus Christi Ballet Orchestra with guest conductor William Reber. A cast of almost 200 dancers and actors bring this colorful production to life. Under the direction of Cristina Stirling Munro, this popular annual production fills the stage with lavish sets, colorful costumes and spectacular dancing and is a must-see event for every family. Follow the story of Clara as the Nutcracker takes her on a magical journey through the Land of Snow, a battle with the Rat King, and into the Kingdom of Sweets to meet the Sugar Plum Fairy.
