Event Details: The Junior League of Corpus Christi (JLCC) will host its fifth annual Festival of Fairy Tales on Saturday, January 30, 2010.

This interactive event will transport children and their imaginations into a world of games and crafts that explore their favorite books. The children will interact with fairy tale characters from their favorite stories. For more information or if you would like to sponsor a child to attend the event, call 361-884-3000.

Pre-sale tickets are $10 per child and include lunch, a gift bag with a book and activities to take home. Tickets sold at the door are $12 per child. Adults accompanying children are free.

Proceeds will support JLCC's current initiative of educating children and adults of the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle to conquer childhood obesity through projects such as Kids in the Kitchen and Playground Pals.
