Event Details: West Coast Comedy Live is coming to the American Bank Center on Saturday, November 6, 2010 for ONE SHOW ONLY with comedian Richard Villa and featuring Mario “Superstar” Salazar along with special guests to be announced.

Richard Villa was raised in the urban city Compton, California. Using stories of his childhood, Richard turned what he thought were basic experiences into autobiographical satirical humor that depict life for Latinos and other minorities in the United States. Richard is the first Latino to ever host the renowned Hollywood Improv on Friday nights. Sharing the stage with various other talent such as Jeff Garcia, Carlos Mancilla, Gabriel Iglesia, Mike Epps, Orlando Jones and Dat Phan, Richard quickly took over co-host duties at Ha-Ha in North Hollywood, and the Ontario and Brea Improv.

Now being hailed as the leader for the new generation of Latino comics, Richard exemplifies dedication to making other people laugh. With his television appearances on Mun2’s Loco Comedy Jam, HBO Latino and Los Angeles based LATV, Richard Villa has turned his talent into animation, becoming a writer and voiceover for MTV’s Latin animation, Chico y Guapo.

Mario “Superstar” Salazar is a comedian from McAllen, Texas with a talent for making anyone laugh and a knack for bringing a story to life. His big personality, his wit and his amusing demeanor always wins an audience over.
