Wristbands: "All You Can Ride" carnival wristbands are available now for $15.00! Price includes admission to Bayfest 2005 for one person, one day. Wristbands are available now at all area H-E-B stores.
Many new and exciting events are planned for Bayfest 2005! Special events lined up include Kachunga and the Alligator Show, Motosphere Globe Show, Nickelodeon Game Lab, and University of Texas Marine Science Institute's research vessel, Longhorn.
 YWCA Children's Activity Area, Texas State Aquarium’s Ocean in Motion Mobile Exhibit, U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Teams, Balloon Buffoon, Team Extreme FMX Bike Show, Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, Military air demonstrations, pony rides, petting zoo, carnival, and arts and crafts are also included in the special events line up.
In addition, a schedule of events in the American Bank Center Arena will include ice skating with special appearances by the Ice Rayz team and cheerleaders offering skating tips and autographs. This year, there will also be an all new "Plaza of the Arts" area featuring a juried Photography Contest Exhibit, a Muscular Dystrophy Art Collection Exhibit, Fine Arts Vendors, and much, much more!
 Headlining this year's musical entertainment are country artist, Tracy Byrd, hard rock group Saliva, piano blues queen, Marcia Ball, and popular norteño/tejano group, Grupo Duelo. Bayfest will also include many regional and local bands playing music from reggae to blues, country to tejano, rock to oldies and americana.
Bayfest will delight your culinary tastes with many delicious foods from turkey legs to funnel cakes and a variety of ethnic cuisine. The food and drink booths are operated by non-profit organizations that rely on Bayfest to support their projects. The organizations keep 80% of the profits they make at Bayfest. Since 1976, this has been the mission that Bayfest was founded on.
