NOCHE DE GALA 2006, a grand musical and visual extravaganza, will premier and showcase a new ballet - ”BRAZILEIRAS” - by resident choreographer Jennifer Mitchell. Vanessa Perez, vocalist, will lend her extraordinaire voice to enhance the dramatic moments of this piece.

Other highlights of NOCHE DE GALA:
• A dance suite from the state of Veracruz, Mexico, that promises to enchant the audience.
• A “Zapateado Huasteco,” intricate footwork that has brought down the house in past performances.
• Up and coming mariachi's newest star, Manuel Medrano II, with an incredible voice is a sure show stopper.
• Classical Guitarist, Carlos Morales Jr. of “Voces y Guitarras.”
• A Salute to the USA Swing era will be Ballet Nacional closing act, a tribute to our country.
