Some say it began on April 3, 1793, when John Bill Ricketts gave the first circus performance in Philadelphia. But for everyone at The Greatest Show On Earth, the real beginning is that moment when the lights go down and the show is just about to start.

Bravo! What a colorful and entertaining experience! Haven't been to the circus in several years and what an improvement. I have always loved the circus and have attended many times in the last 55 years, but the interactive quality of tonight's performance was outstanding. The costumes were gorgeous, and what fun for the child and child at heart to be able to experience the circus up close during the All-Access Preshow. The large ball audience participation at the beginning of the show was just too much fun! I think almost everyone had the opportunity to hit at least one ball. I also enjoyed the Inner Mongolia Acrobatic Troupe -- what muscle control and coordination those guys have! Absolutely beautiful! My favorite part has always been the tigers, and I was far from disappointed tonight. All of the other animal acts were amazing as well. You truly lived up to your name tonight as The Greatest Show On Earth!
