Event Details: Blue Man Group's new tour How to Be a Megastar 2.1 takes the audience through a satirical "workshop" on how to create "the perfect rock concert experience." In the process, they celebrate, skewer and otherwise deconstruct rock stardom in all of its narcissistic glory. Expanding on the "Rock Concert Manuel" concept from The Complex Rock Tour, this time around, the Blue Men obtain a new "how-to-manuel" that takes the audience through a uniquely clever and interactive show that guarantees to deliver hypnotic entertainment for all ages.

In the end, the message of the show plays against its ironic title. Co-founder of Blue Man group Chris Wink explains, "we want people to walk away feeling like the real magic of rock concerts come from their tribal and communal elements of the live show as opposed to 'mega-stardom'.

With their HOW TO BE A MEGASTAR TOUR 2.1, Blue Man Group embraces the rules, rituals and raw excitement of that most primal of group experiences: the arena rock concert! This full production tour features state-of-the-art concert technology. The tour’s third leg continues to bring the Blue Man Group experience to arenas and select theaters across the nation throughout the fall of 2007.

Blue Man Group is renowned world-wide for its award-winning theatrical productions which critics have described as "ground-breaking," "hilarious," "visually stunning," and "musically powerful."
