Event Details: Come October 3 - 4, 2008, the Selena Auditorium will be filled with women from all over South Texas who want to learn how they can reach higher. With a vision to encourage, equip and empower women to live life to the fullest, the 2008 "Living the Life" Women's Conference will reach women from all walks of life as they gather together in an atmosphere of grace, hope and love. This year's theme, "Reaching Higher", features upbeat, inspirational music, as well as a team of down-to-earth speakers, who through their own personal testimonies, will help equip women to overcome and live fuller lives. This will be a high quality, life inspiring and spiritually transforming weekend for any woman who needs change or simply wants more out of life!

The 2008 Living the Life Conference Team includes Becky Tirabassi; a national best-selling author and motivational speaker; Rochelle Roots, a speaker/teacher, songwriter and author; Laura Harris, an entrepreneur, speaker, and author; Alene Snodgrass, a teacher, speaker and author; Tonya Webber, a speaker and practicing trial attorney; Lakendra Lewis, a singer, author and freelance journalist; and Kristen Reyna, a creative dramatist, singer and writer; and The James Roots Band, a concert/praise and worship band.
