Alcohol Policy

All patrons must be 21 years of age to purchase or consume an alcoholic beverage. We reserve the right to require proper age identification from anyone seeking to purchase or consume an alcoholic beverage, regardless of apparent age.

Doors Open
For most events, doors open 90 minutes prior to the start time. This may vary by event. For specific information, please call the American Bank Center at 361-826-4100.
Age Policy
For all sporting events and most concerts, children under twenty-four months do not require a ticket to be admitted, however, they must sit on an adult’s lap and may not occupy a seat. Any child who has reached their second birthday will require a ticket to enter the arena and must occupy their ticketed seat. Please note that some shows (especially those intended for children) may have a different age policy. Any events varying from our age policy will be clearly indicated on the event listing and ticketing pages.

Bag Policy

Any bags larger than a small clutch bag will need to be clear. Bags no larger than 12″x12″x6″ will be permitted inside American Bank Center. Small clutch bags or purses do not have to be clear but cannot exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″

We do allow each member of the party to bring in a large clear ziploc bag, including children, of their belongings. Guests who have bags larger than this size will be asked to return them to their vehicles. All bags will be searched for prohibited items at entry before walking through the metal detectors.

Banner & Sign Policy
Banners and signs are permitted as long as they do not block the view of others, interfere with the event, contain advertising of any form, present a safety hazard or contain political or obscene material. No sign larger than 8.5″ x 11″ will be permitted into the venue.

Banners may not be affixed with any type of material that is permanent in nature or that alters the facility in any manner. Building management reserves the right to remove any banner or sign. Signs may also be prohibited if requested by the event.

Camera Policy
For most events, at the request of the artists and/or leagues, cameras (specifically cameras with professional/detachable lenses and flash) are not permitted. American Bank Center reserves the right to examine and prohibit the use of any camera that conflicts with the policy set by the event.

Audio recorders, video recorders, and digital cameras with video capabilities are prohibited during all events. The specific camera policy for an event can be found on the event page for that show.

Cancellation
In the event that a show cancels, Ticketmaster will be responsible for issuing refunds. Refunds are typically processed 30 days after a show is canceled.

Cashless Payment

American Bank Center is a cashless* facility. F&B and Merchandise will only be accepting cards.

*Box office and Parking accepts cash and card.

Re-Entry Policy
American Bank Center has a “no re-entry” policy during American Bank Center Selena Auditorium and American Bank Center Arena events. Guests who exit the building during an event will not be admitted back into the event.
Lost & Found
During an event, you may inquire about lost or found items at any Guest Services location. For inquiries following an event, please call 361-826-4100, during normal business hours.
Media Request
To submit a media request for a Live Nation promoted event, please apply here. All other requests can be taken here.

Requests are subject to approval, access is not guaranteed. Requests are only for contributors on working assignments for a credentialed media outlet.

Metal Detector
Security enhancements have been implemented and all guests will have to walk-through metal detectors. These are located at every entrance. To accommodate the additional time needed for the new security procedures, fans are encouraged to arrive early to allow extra time for ingress.

Oak View Group (OVG) is a global sports and entertainment company founded by Tim Leiweke and Irving Azoff in 2015. OVG is focused on being a positive disruption to business as usual in the sports and live entertainment industry and currently has eight divisions across six global offices (Los Angeles, New York, London, Seattle, Austin, and Philadelphia).
Outside Food & Beverages
Outside food and beverages of any kind (alcoholic beverages included) may not be brought into American Bank Center.
Parking


When driving to American Bank Center for an event, we highly recommend that you reserve your parking in advance with ParkMobile to guarantee your spot and the lowest prices. ParkMobile does not require you to download an app and lets you easily reserve parking online in advance of the event.

Prohibited Items
We ask all guests to arrive early and travel light, as you may be subject to search, which includes metal detecting and hand wands upon entry. For safety reasons, prohibited items include but are not limited to:

  • Alcohol, drugs, illegal substances or any paraphernalia associated with drug use
  • Weapons of any type, including firearms, chains, knives and spiked jewelry
  • Audio/video recorders, professional cameras, tripods
  • Selfie sticks
  • Cans, bottles, coolers or other similar containers
  • Fireworks
  • Flags/signs with poles
  • iPads/tablets of any size
  • Laser pens/pointers of any type
  • Noisemakers such as air horns
  • Outside food or drinks
  • Oversized bags, backpacks, duffel bags or diaper bags
  • Pepper spray/mace
  • Any other item deemed unacceptable by event/building management
Security
American Bank Center staffs both private security and off-duty Corpus Christi police officers to provide security before, during and after events. Depending on the current Homeland Security National Threat Advisory, American Bank Center will base event security upon that level along with the performer’s security requests.

All fans attending American Bank Center events must pass through metal detectors when entering the arena and auditorium.

Suspicious activity, disruptive patrons and guest-related problems should be reported to an usher or police officer immediately. Uncooperative patrons showing disregard for other patrons, the arena, auditorium or the teams may be ejected from the building. Intoxicated fans will not be allowed into the building. An ejected patron will not be allowed to return for the remainder of the event. Re-entry by an ejected patron is grounds for arrest.

You and your belongings may be searched upon entry into the building. By tendering your ticket and entering the building, you consent to such searches and waive any related claims that you might have against American Bank Center. If you elect not to consent to a search, you will not be allowed into the building.

Service Animals

Certified service animals or service animals in training accompanying guests with disabilities are welcome to American Bank Center. All service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness. Service animals rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability, rather than the aisle. Guests may take their service animal outside of the venue to relieve itself but must speak with a Guest Services Team Member prior to leaving the venue. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other American Bank Center guests and staff may be asked to escort the animal off the premises.

Smoking & Tobacco Policy

Smoking is not permitted in the arena, auditorium nor convention center including e-cigarettes, at any time. No smoking items such as cigarettes and e-cigarettes are allowed inside the building. Smoking must be a minimum of 50ft away from any entrance to American Bank Center.

Solicitation
The distribution of banners, booklets, business cards, circulars, commercial advertising, flyers, pamphlets, posters, stickers or any other written, printed and/or painted materials is prohibited on American Bank Center premises without the explicit written permission of the event promoter, Corpus Christi IceRays, or American Bank Center Management. This includes the solicitation for donations to charities, teams or clubs, and sale or peddling of any product/food/drink.
Tickets
Ticketmaster is the only official ticketing company associated with American Bank Center. If you did not purchase tickets directly from Ticketmaster.com or American Bank Center box office we can’t guarantee that tickets will be legitimate. If you have any questions regarding your tickets we recommend calling our box office before day of show at 361.826.4744.
Wheelchair Assistance
Guests who require additional assistance because of a limitation in mobility can request a wheelchair transport from the entry doors of the arena to their seating location.

A Guest Services Host will escort guests to their seats and arrange a pick-up time to escort them for their departure if desired. This service is available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be requested from any team member at the entry doors. Please note that arena wheelchairs cannot be left with guests during the event.

  • Any bags larger than a small clutch bag will need to be clear
  • Bags no larger than 12″x12″x6″ will be permitted inside American Bank Center
  • Guests with bags larger than this size will be asked to return them to their vehicles.
  • Small clutch bags or purses do not have to be clear but cannot exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″
  • We allow each party member to bring in a large (up to 1 gallon) clear plastic storage or Ziploc bag, including children, of their belongings.

All bags will be searched for prohibited items at entry before walking through the metal detectors.

Accessibility

Handicap Accessible Seat Exchange
You cannot exchange your ticket in advance. When you arrive at the venue you may go to the Box Office and request to be relocated to ADA seating. Standard policy is one handicap seat plus one guest. This opportunity depends on availability of the seats. Accessible seats are available on each level of the American Bank Center.
Handicap Accessible Parking
All parking lots that are owned and operated by the American Bank Center are ADA-compliant and have designated handicapped parking available. These are available on a first come first serve basis.
ADA Drop-off and Pick-up Locations

For Arena events, patrons with disabilities may be dropped off at the corner of Shoreline Boulevard and Resaca Street and enter through the Main Entrance. For Selena Auditorium and Exhibit Hall events, patrons with disabilities may be dropped off at the end of Shoreline Boulevard at the turnaround.

Environmental Hygiene, Signage & Health Screening
American Bank Center can provide sign language interpretation for guests that are deaf/hard of hearing. Requests for this service must be received three weeks prior to the event and be approved by the performer. Sound System

American Bank Center does not control the sound system for events. Each show provides its own equipment and handles the sound level.

Safety & COVID

Vaccination Cards

Proof of vaccination is not required for entry into the American Bank Center.

Face Coverings
Masks are strongly recommended in American Bank Center when social distancing is not available or for unvaccinated individuals.
Social Distancing
Social distancing is promoted to the best extent possible in all areas, including but not limited to: venue entrances and exits, concourse space, venue seating, restrooms, food service areas and box office. When social distancing cannot be achieved, steps will be taken to install physical barriers such as Plexiglas at concession stands.
Environmental Hygiene, Signage & Health Screening

Hand sanitizing stations are placed throughout the facility. High touch point areas (such as door handles, elevator buttons, toilets, sinks, soap and towel dispensers and escalator rails) are treated with continuous and enhanced cleaning along with all occupied spaces.

PPE will be distributed to employees upon arrival and gloves are required for those handling food, disinfectants, cleaning areas, or high-touch surfaces throughout the venue.

Postponed or Cancelled Due to COVID-19

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation and out of an abundance of caution, the following events at American Bank Center have been postponed or cancelled:

If an event is postponed, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date.
If an event is canceled, tickets will be automatically refunded at your original point of purchase.

Our American Bank Center Arena Box Office is open M-F 10am-5pm located on N Shoreline Blvd. at our American Bank Center Arena.
