June 16, 2005 - The Bay Ball Ballyhoop presented by American Bank Center brings the 3-on-3 basketball tournament back to Corpus Christi. The weekend tournament is set for July 30-31 and the proceeds benefit Special Olympics Texas Area 2.
Teams from all over Corpus Christi, the surrounding area and the state will take their game to the street as they drive, dunk and shoot their way through the Bay Ball Ballyhoop 3-on-3 street basketball tournament. The tournament will be held at American Bank Center Arena.
All team entries are due by July 15, 2005. Team check-in will be held Friday, July 29, from 4:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m.
Competition categories include men’s open, women’s open, males under 18, females under 18, men’s over 40, corporate/business and wheelchair competition. Team entry fees are $120 for four adults, or $80 for four youths (all youths must be ages 8-17). Don’t miss this chance to be a part of the excitement of 3-on-3 basketball in Corpus Christi.
