September 15, 2006 - Former NFL lineman, Rex Richards, quickly found out Fightfest is no football game. He’s gone from the green yards of a football field to a cold steel cage, facing his toughest competition – Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu wrestlers and Muay Thai Boxers.
Richards has been practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for about five years. The 6’5 315lbs grappler is becoming a well-known name in the Fightfest world, fiercely taking down powerful competitors with-in minutes.
When he’s not battling in the cage, Richards stays in the spotlight as an arena football player for the San Jose Sabercats.
