January 22, 2007 - This Spring, Metro Ministries will hold its signature concert event, Spirit Jam 2007, to generate much needed revenue for the myriad of client programs and services for the poor and homeless in Corpus Christi.
Spirit Jam 2007, which is Metro Ministries’ largest event, raising ten percent of the organizations annual budget, will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 7pm at the American Bank Center Arena featuring the nation’s top Christian band, MercyMe. Tickets are $19.50 - $55.50 and go on sale Saturday, January 27th @ 10am. With sold-out concerts in Madison Square Garden and appearances on the Tonight Show, MercyMe has been showered with Dove Awards, Christian Awards and Victory Awards, including 2005 Album of the Year, 2004 and 2002 Song of the Year and Band of the Year, and 2003 Songwriters of the Year. MercyMe is sure to pack the American Bank Center!
