July 30, 2007 - American Bank Center Arena is celebrating an incredible accomplishment! In the last six weeks, we’ve hosted nine sold out shows in a row. The trend started with George Lopez on June 30th, then WWE Monday Night Raw on July 16th, Monster Jam on July 20th and 21st and finally all five Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey shows. “We are absolutely delighted by the success of these events. It shows we are bringing the fans what they want, we are bringing the best entertainment to town. Selling out this many shows in such a short time span is unheard of in this market. We’ve set a record!” says Marc Solis, American Bank Center General Manager. All nine shows have brought thousands of people from all across Texas to American Bank Center and the downtown area, boosting business at area restaurants and hotels.
Since opening in November 2004, American Bank Center has entertained audiences with 34 full-house events in the Arena and Selena Auditorium combined.
