November 2, 2007 - Your Corpus Christi Rayz are proud to announce that during last Sunday’s
game at the American Bank Center, the Rayz, along with the Naval Air
Station of Corpus Christi, Grande Communications and Kraft donated over
$3,300 in Kraft Macaroni & Cheese to the Food Bank of Corpus Christi. The
donation came as part of the Rayz “Shake Your Noodle” promotion during
Sunday’s Rayz game vs. the Laredo Bucks. The Rayz will return to the
American Bank Center for two more games this weekend with contests on
Saturday Night and Sunday afternoon. Tickets are currently on sale now.

Last Sunday afternoon the Rayz collected more than 1,500 boxes of Kraft
Macaroni & Cheese and distributed the boxes to fans who used them as noise
makers during the Rayz game. Upon completion of the game, the boxes were
collected, along with cash donations from fans and donated a sum of over
$3,300 in food and money to the Food Bank of Corpus Christi on behalf of
the Rayz, Kraft, the Naval Air Station of Corpus Christi and Grande
Communications. The Rayz would like to thank all of their generous fans
and partners who helped make the “Shake Your Noodle” promotion a successful
one for the city of Corpus Christi.
The Rayz return to the American Bank Center on Saturday Night at 7:05pm
when they host the Texas Brahmas, presented by Katz 21, Niko’s Steakhouse
and the Martini Bar. Fans will have the opportunity to win free appetizers
and dinners from Katz 21 and Niko’s at the game. Then on Sunday afternoon
it’s Caller-Times Family Day when the Rayz welcome in the Youngstown
Steelhounds. Kids 12 and under will get FREE tickets to the game with the
purchase of a regular price adult ticket. Plus fans can skate with the
Rayz players in a post-game skating session following the game. Get your
