November 6, 2007 - American Bank Center in partnership with S.A.F.E. Familia of San Antonio and the City of Corpus Christi Fire Department present a FREE safety concert for the public. The concert will be held on Wednesday, November 7th at 10:00am at American Bank Center Selena Auditorium.

The Safety Concert will cover several issues including fire, bicycle, and Halloween safety. The importance of buckling up, literacy, manners and much more will also be highlighted. The songs are all original and based on the experiences of former firefighters. Young children and senior citizens are most vulnerable to injuries and death from fire, car crashes and bicycle injuries. The goal of the concert is to encourage safety habits with music as a creative and innovative venue to save lives.

S.A.F.E. Familia is made up of retired San Antonio Firefighters, Conrad Gonzales, Jr. and Alfred Casillas, Jr. Both continue to dedicate their lives to prevention through education and music. This will be the first major musical concert the duo brings to Corpus Christi. Visit www.safefamilia.com for more information about the organization.
