May 9, 2008 - Rock n’ Roll icons ZZ Top performed for a full-house crowd last year in March. It was one of the most memorable concerts in the American Bank Center’s four-year history in Corpus Christi. So back by popular demand, ZZ Top is looking forward to hosting another capacity crowd on May 16, 2008 at 8:00pm.
That night, two worlds will collide to create one incredible show. Adding to the line up of the ZZ Top Corpus Christi show, Corpus Christi’s rock and reggae favorite, Sun Salutation, are now slated to open for the rock legends. Sun Sal is a band that has become known for weaving creative, upbeat melodies seamlessly in with the lead vocal styles of Erin Harris. Sun Salutation’s original sound is made up of a variety of genres which include rock and roll, reggae and funk.
