The South Texas Substance Abuse Recovery Services is celebrating their 40th Anniversary on September 12, 2009 at 8:00pm with a fundraiser and a special evening with Dr. Drew Pinsky at American Bank Center Selena Auditorium.
Funds from the event will go towards helping give clients of South Texas Substance Abuse Recovery Services the tools to live a drug free, healthy, happy, functional and productive life. Mrs. Norma Paz, Executive Director of STSARS says, “We as a community will not ignore the epidemic of addiction and substance abuse.” Plans for the funds raised will help support a very worthy cause in the gift of hope for recovery. Following his interactive presentation, Dr. Drew will hold a signing session to autograph his newest book.
Tickets for “An Evening with Dr. Drew” are priced at $50.00 for general admission seats. Reserved and VIP seating is also available. Dr. Drew Pinsky is a practicing medical doctor and is board-certified in addiction medicine.
