The Man In Black, A Tribute to Johnny Cash, which has sold out everywhere it has played, honors a legendary icon of modern pop culture and music. This authentic recreation of Cash’s music can be seen and heard for one performance only at the American Bank Center Selena Auditorium at 8:00pm Friday, October 23rd.
The Man In Black, A Tribute to Johnny Cash is a national touring show that takes the audience from the grass roots days of Country and Rock-a-Billy to the polished MTV and VH1 hits that crossed all age barriers. After a wildly successful show at the Selena Auditorium in 2006, returning star Shawn Barker portrays Johnny Cash with vigor and authority. Barker possesses an uncanny resemblance to Cash and truly captures the presence of the legendary performer, not only through his music but also in his storytelling. You will be astounded by the uncanny resemblance that Shawn has to Cash and even more astounded by his voice.
