American Bank Center to Host Second Annual Wingapalooza on July 21

Last year’s all-you-can-eat wing festival welcomed a sold-out crowd and 2018 will bring an expanded layout for attendees to enjoy

 

 

On July 29, 2017, American Bank Center welcomed wing fans for the very first Wingapalooza. Local restaurants and food trucks battled for the title of “Wing Master” while Corpus Christi residents had the opportunity to try unlimited wings from restaurants that included Fat Chads, Brewster Street Icehouse, Googly’s, Kitchen at House of Rock, Twin Peaks, SAVOR…, House of Burger and Wings, Papa John’s, B&J’s Pizza Restaurant, and Hardknocks Sports Lounge & Grill.

Due to sold out crowds its first year, the event will be returning with an expanded footprint in the arena, that will allow for more wing vendors to participate and more patrons to attend this delectable event.

More than 15 Corpus Christi area restaurants will prepare to get saucy as they compete for the Lord of the Wings and Wing Master awards and will be judged on appearance, sauce, taste and texture. Patron’s admission ticket will them the opportunity to sample as many wings as they desire, as well as enjoy live entertainment, participate in fun activities, visit the beer garden and watch sports events in viewing areas. American Bank Center is so very proud to bring a fantastic event to the Coastal Bend! 

American Bank Center is teaming up with Malkan Interactive radio again this year and a portion of the ticket proceeds will go to Corpus Christi’s Bike for Kids.
