Stars Scholarship Fund is proud to announce that the Corpus Christi Stars Extravaganza will feature GRAMMY winning San Franciscans TRAIN on Wednesday – March 23, 2016.

Train has sold more than ten million albums worldwide, thirty million tracks worldwide, with numerous platinum/gold citations on their mantle, 3 Grammy Awards, 2 Billboard Music Awards and dozens of other honors and nominations.

This year alone Train has wowed audiences everywhere from iHeartRadio Fest in Las Vegas to Radio City Music Hall in NYC and appeared on The TODAY Show twice, America’s Got Talent, The Talk, The Meredith Viera Show, and VH1’s Big Morning Buzz. The band’s latest album and seventh studio effort, Bulletproof Picasso, was produced by Butch Walker. The disc has spawned two mega-hit singles, “Angel in Blue Jeans,” their 13th Top Ten radio hit, and “Cadillac, Cadillac.” The former soared to the Top 15 of Triple A and Adult Top 40 radio in only a month, joining the band’s successful arsenal of other radio-embraced singles throughout their two-decade career.

The Stars Extravaganza is scheduled for Wednesday – March 23, 2016. Tickets for Train’s concert will be on sale to the public on Friday – December 18, 2015 at 10:00am at the American Bank Center box office, online at www.Ticketmaster.com and by phone at 1-800-745-3000. Floor seats are reserved for Stars Extravaganza sponsors and will not be available for purchase by the public.

We invite local businesses to support our initiatives by becoming sponsors of the Corpus Christi Extravaganza. Our sponsors will enjoy the benefits of attending the Extravaganza, which includes a private event prior to the live entertainment by Train and year round media exposure.

With the funds raised in 2014, Stars Scholarship Fund awarded $2.6 million in scholarships in 2015, bringing our total impact to $25.9 million in scholarships to over 12,500 students since inception. The number of scholarships Stars Scholarship Fund can award is directly related to the success of our Extravaganzas, therefore we strive to ensure each Extravaganza is better than the last.

As businesses look at ways that they can give back to our community this year, we ask that they consider supporting the Corpus Christi Extravaganza. When supporting Stars Scholarship Fund, 100% of sponsor donations will be applied to student scholarships, as our operating expenses are largely covered by L&F Distributors and Anheuser-Busch. In addition, our partnerships with Texas colleges and universities enable Stars Scholarship Fund to have sponsor donations matched, allowing our funds to have a greater impact in our community.

To become a sponsor of the Stars Extravaganza in the Corpus Christi or for more information on the Stars Scholarship Fund, please visit our website at www.StarsScholarship.org.
