I LOVE THE 90's Concert Event is coming to American Bank Center Arena on July 28!
The 90's are back! Salt-n-Pepa headlines this stacked concert tour, which unites a whole bunch of 90's music legends. Salt-n-Pepa is comprised of Cheryl James (Salt), Sandra Denton (Pepa). Salt-n-Pepa played a huge part in breaking rap into the mainstream, and feminist-centric rap at that, with tracks like "Push It" and "Let's Talk About Sex", "Shoop";, & "Whatta' Man".
Vanilla Ice who's 1990 single "Ice Ice Baby" is the next up. This song was the first hip hop single to top the Billboard charts. In 2009, Ice began hosting The Vanilla Ice Project on DIY Network.
Coolio, who won a Grammy Award in 1996 for Best Rap Performance Solo for his hit single "Gangsta's Paradise" which was also featured on the "Dangerous Minds" soundtrack an movie. Coolio has sold over 30 million records globally. In the diversified hip hop industry Coolio is one of the few rap artists who has been able to garner mainstream success and critical acclaim.
Next up is Color Me Bad who had 5 hit singles from their debut album C.M.B. in 1991-1992. These were "I Wanna Sex You Up", I Adore Mi Amor", All 4 Love", "Thinkin' Back', and "Slow Motion".
