The Buc Days Miller Lite Pro Rodeo presented by the Coastal Bend Chevy Dealers returns to the American Bank Center Arena in April for 4 performances! Corpus Christi’s Buc Days Pro Rodeo continues to be a top 50 rodeo. The Pro Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) sanctions over 700 rodeos in the world. The Buc Days Rodeo attracts the top professional cowboy contestants in the world due to the Rodeo’s total prize money reaching $200,000 and because the Buccaneer Commission brings in the country’s top stock from Frontier Rodeo. Over the years fans have seen Ty Murray, Fred Whitfield, Joe Beaver, Roy Cooper, Trevor Brazile, Phil Lyne, Billy Etbauer and Cody Ohl compete at the Corpus Christi Buc Days Pro Rodeo. Since 1938 the Buccaneer Commission, a non-profit organization has annually staged the Buc Days festival in Corpus Christi, Texas in support of bringing entertaining, educational and cultural events to the Coastal Bend. Beginning in 1996, the proceeds from Buc Days have benefited the Buccaneer Commission Scholarship fund, which awards college scholarships annually to area youth.
