Time: 7:30 PM Details: Buccaneer Days Coronation Las Donas de la Corte cordially invites the public to attend the 62nd annual Buccaneer Days Coronation, "The Court of Celebratory American Festivals and Events" The Queen, the Princess, and twenty one Duchesses will be presented in gowns and trains jeweled by local artisans. King Alonso, named for Alonso de Pineda discoverer of Corpus Christi Bay , and the court are crowned in this elaborate ceremony befitting their positions as regal monarchs of Buccaneer Days. Immediately following is the Coronation Reception, which will be held in the Henry Garrett Ballroom at American Bank Center.
