For all sporting events and most concerts, children under twenty-four months do not require a ticket to be admitted, however, they must sit on an adult’s lap and may not occupy a seat. Any child who has reached their second birthday will require a ticket to enter the arena and must occupy their ticketed seat. Please note that some shows (especially those intended for children) may have a different age policy. Any events varying from our age policy will be clearly indicated on the event listing and ticketing pages.

Any bags larger than a small clutch bag will need to be clear. Bags no larger than 12″x12″x6″ will be permitted inside American Bank Center. Small clutch bags or purses do not have to be clear but cannot exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″
We do allow each member of the party to bring in a large clear ziploc bag, including children, of their belongings. Guests who have bags larger than this size will be asked to return them to their vehicles. All bags will be searched for prohibited items at entry before walking through the metal detectors.
Banners and signs are permitted as long as they do not block the view of others, interfere with the event, contain advertising of any form, present a safety hazard or contain political or obscene material. No sign larger than 8.5″ x 11″ will be permitted into the venue. Banners may not be affixed with any type of material that is permanent in nature or that alters the facility in any manner. Building management reserves the right to remove any banner or sign. Signs may also be prohibited if requested by the event.
For most events, at the request of the artists and/or leagues, cameras (specifically cameras with professional/detachable lenses and flash) are not permitted. American Bank Center reserves the right to examine and prohibit the use of any camera that conflicts with the policy set by the event. Audio recorders, video recorders and digital cameras with video capabilities are prohibited during all events. The specific camera policy for an event can be found on the event page for that show.
In the event that a show cancels, Ticketmaster will be responsible for issuing refunds. Refunds are typically processed 30 days after a show is canceled.

American Bank Center has a “no re-entry” policy during American Bank Center Selena Auditorium and American Bank Center Arena events. Guests who exit the building during an event will not be admitted back into the event.
During an event, you may inquire about lost or found items at any Guest Services location. For inquiries following an event, please call 361-826-4100, during normal business hours.
Security enhancements have been implemented and all guests will have to walk-through metal detectors. These are located at every entrance. To accommodate the additional time needed for the new security procedures, fans are encouraged to arrive early to allow extra time for ingress.

We ask all guests to arrive early and travel light, as you may be subject to search, which includes metal detecting and hand wands upon entry. For safety reasons, prohibited items include but are not limited to:
- Alcohol, drugs, illegal substances or any paraphernalia associated with drug use
- Weapons of any type, including firearms, chains, knives and spiked jewelry
- Audio/video recorders, professional cameras, tripods
- Selfie sticks
- Cans, bottles, coolers or other similar containers
- Fireworks
- Flags/signs with poles
- iPads/tablets of any size
- Laser pens/pointers of any type
- Noisemakers such as air horns
- Outside food or drinks
- Oversized bags, backpacks, duffel bags or diaper bags
- Pepper spray/mace
- Any other item deemed unacceptable by event/building management

American Bank Center staffs both private security and off-duty Corpus Christi police officers to provide security before, during and after events. Depending on the current Homeland Security National Threat Advisory, American Bank Center will base event security upon that level along with the performer’s security requests.
All fans attending American Bank Center events must pass through metal detectors when entering the arena and auditorium.
Suspicious activity, disruptive patrons and guest-related problems should be reported to an usher or police officer immediately. Uncooperative patrons showing disregard for other patrons, the arena, auditorium or the teams may be ejected from the building. Intoxicated fans will not be allowed into the building. An ejected patron will not be allowed to return for the remainder of the event. Re-entry by an ejected patron is grounds for arrest.
You and your belongings may be searched upon entry into the building. By tendering your ticket and entering the building, you consent to such searches and waive any related claims that you might have against American Bank Center. If you elect not to consent to a search, you will not be allowed into the building.
Smoking is not permitted in the arena, auditorium nor convention center including e-cigarettes, at any time. Smoking must be a minimum of 10ft away from any entrance to American Bank Center.

Guests who require additional assistance because of a limitation in mobility can request a wheelchair transport from the entry doors of the arena to their seating location.
A Guest Services Host will escort guests to their seat and arrange a pick-up time to escort them for their departure if desired. This service is available on a first come, first served basis and may be requested from any team member at the entry doors. Please note that arena wheelchairs cannot be left with guests during the event.
