“WING MASTER” & “LORD OF THE WINGS”

The battle for the titles of “Wing Master” & “Lord of the Wings” continues as American Bank Center prepares to host Wingapalooza for the third time! More than 15 Corpus Christi area restaurants will prepare to get saucy as they compete for the judges choice and people’s choice awards.

Patron’s admission ticket gives them the opportunity to sample as many wings as they desire, as well as the opportunity to enjoy live entertainment, participate in fun competitions and visit the beer garden. There’s no other event like it in the Coastal Bend!

MASTER OF THE WINGS

(JUDGE’S CHOICE)
A panel of local celebrity judges will award winners based on overall best wing. They will judge based on: taste, sauce, texture, and appearance. The winner will receive a plaque, bragging rights and a $1,500 value of on-air commercials for your business to be divided across HOT Z95, ROCK 92/7 and 1440 KEYS.

LORD OF THE WINGS

(PEOPLE’S CHOICE)
Patrons vote on overall best wing. Judging will be based on: taste, sauce, texture, and appearance. The winner will receive a plaque, bragging rights and a $1,500 value of on-air commercials for your business to be divided across HOT Z95, ROCK 92/7 and 1440 KEYS.

GHOST PEPPER WING EATING COMPETITION

The ghost pepper wing challenge requires eating 20 wings in just four minutes. Participants can have a glass of water with no ice, ranch, or blue cheese. All of the meat will need to be off of the wing. The first person to finish all of their wings (or whoever consumes the most) will be crowned the winner. The winner takes home a plaque, t-shirt and bragging rights! Get ready to have your mouth lit on fire!

CHICKEN LEG CONTEST

Men, ages 18 and up, will walk on stage behind a drape and show off their chicken legs! HOT Z95, ROCK 92/7 and 1440 KEYS DJ’s will deliberate and ask for crowd feedback (loudest cheers). The winner will receive a plaque and gift card on stage.

HOT LEGS CONTEST

Women, ages 18 and up, will walk on stage behind a drape and show off their hot legs! Z95 and Rock 92.7 DJ’s will deliberate and ask for crowd feedback (loudest cheers). The winner will receive a plaque and gift card on stage.
